Day 29

Finally joined the masses and saw Avatar. Very neat.

Day 28

Brody made the Miller men proud and loved his first day at the gym. Little Gym that is!

Day 27

The pajamas are so right.

Day 24

Just relaxing after a long day of church.

Day 23

The Ward Basketball Tournament has officially begun. Here are Brody and Daddy celebrating our ward's second victory. Then rewarding themselves with a yummy frogurt treat.

Day 22

This shows you the kind of high energy day we have had today. It seems we have been having a lot of these lately! This little guy has turned into quite the bundle of mischief.

Day 21

As Brody has gotten older, his personality has started to shine through. He seems very energetic and strong-willed, just like his mom. But lately a trait like his dad has started to come out... a love of cleaning! This should work out well in my favor on chore days :)

Day 20

Brody loved the fabric store. Especially when he was riding in the cart like a big kid.

Day 19

Proof that I can be a mean mom. But he just looks so cute. It all started with some leftover tulle from a present. He was playing with it and I tied it around his head in a bow. It looked like a great hair accessory, so I ran up and found an outfit I had bought when we still didn't know our baby's gender. I also promise he was only in this outfit for 10 minutes. It didn't help that he was holding my girly nail file at the time. Maybe I need a baby girl soon.

Day 18

Max and Zella came to play today. Brody loved showing him around his playroom and all of his fun toys. I love this shot because it looks like he truly is giving Zella a tour.

Day 17

Mr. B is very into feeding himself these days. Usually mom has to help him get the food on the spoon but then he takes it away from there.

Saturday, January 16, 2010

Day 16

We went to Molly's 2nd birthday party tonight! She is such a babe!! It's also our nephew Max's birthday. He turned 7 and we wish we could have gone to his party too!

Day 15

We went swimming today and Brody loved it!

Day 14

Today two of my cute little neighbor boys were playing outside and must have become entranced by the "candy gumdrop wreath" hanging on my front door. What kind of a lady puts candy out on her door and doesn't expect children to come eat it?
Sadly, today was the end of the wreath. It was ready to come down anyway, the boys just gave it a little help :)

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Day 13

Brody had a playdate with his "cousin" Davis today and it seems that the teepee will be a good investment for years to come. Of course, it won't remain in the living room for years to come.

Day 12

Today is Taylor's little sister Molly's birthday! As our gift to her, Tay took her to the Jazz/Miami game last night. She's become quite the Heat fan. Too bad the Jazz smoked them! She is such a babe and we have LOVED having her live close while she is going to school in Orem.

Day 11

Heather came over today and took some photos of Brody for his first birthday party. The theme is Cowboys and Indians so we got some shots of him dressed up as both. Here he is before she came trying out his headdress. It was a little floppy and will need some work before the real deal, but he sure did look cute. Please note the mischeif that my little Indian is getting into. Opening the cupboards under the sink and pulling everything out has become one of his favorite pastimes.

Day 10

I wore this skirt today and got lots of compliments on it. That made me very happy because it was my mom's skirt. She was a very stylish lady. Red was her signature color. That's why I chose to have red nails when I delivered Brody. She always had red nails, so it seemed a fitting way for me to enter "motherhood."
It was fun spending a day in a piece of her wardrobe. It was nice having a little bit of her with me. I think she would have liked my outfit. I also think she would be proud of the little lady I have become. She definitely would love Brody.

Day 9

Our little mister has been ditching his usual method of transportation(army crawling) for a more "mature" hands and knees approach. With his 1st birthday less than a month away, and his recent love of standing on his own, I can only imagine when he will graduate to the next method of transportation- WALKING!

Friday, January 8, 2010

Day 8

Laced these bad boys up for the first time in 2 months. Got on the elliptical, turned on my "PUMP you up" playlist, and discovered that my iPod was dead. 30 minutes watching ESPN at the gym. Wouldn't have been so horrible if I hadn't already watched the little Michael Ingram segment earlier that day. Zumba tomorrow. Wish me luck. Or send me an ace bandage and an ice bag...

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Day 7

The teepee for Brody's first birthday party arrived today. Brody loved exploring his new digs.
Thanks Grandpa Lee!

Day 6

We've been wanting to paint this wall in our family room for a while. Just had to decide on the color. Happy to say that since I shot this photo, the wall has all become one of these colors. That explains why I am posting after midnight, but still counting this as day 6.

Day 5

Early morning flights with an infant are not very fun. Especially when you received fewer hours of sleep the night before than there are hours in the flight. I don't think that either Taylor or I have ever been happier to land, and to sweeten the deal, our flight arrived 45 minutes ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, that meant it also arrived 45 minutes before we had told our fabulous ride Heather to pick us up. The wait didn't seem to be a problem for the men in my life. They were just happy to play peek-a-boo without disturbing the fellow passengers.

Another highlight, we didn't forget any suitcases this time.

Monday, January 4, 2010

Day 4

Taylor finally tried out the straw glasses that Santa put in his stocking. They were a hit with the kids. Maybe they should ask Santa to bring some to them next year...

Sunday, January 3, 2010

Day 3

Lexie's blessing. What a special event! So glad we could be there!

Saturday, January 2, 2010

Day 2

It was a busy day filled with cleaning and laundry. Brody kept trying to crawl into Grandpa's washer, so I put him in for a minute and he thought it was so fun! If he leaned one way it would start spinning just like a ride at a fun house!

Day 1

Day one!
We are hoping to create an online photo journal for the 2010 Miller family memories. Here is the very first photo! Taken right after midnight on January 1, 2010. Happy New Year! Love, the Miller family- Taylor, Jessie, and Brody.
