Had a fun and much needed week down in Vegas. Here are some highlights.
Checking out the Springs Preserve. It was really fun!
Building a town with Grandma. Walking by the lakes and feeding ducks. One of his favorite things to do at Grandma's house is go up and down this stone stairway on the front lawn. He does it OVER and OVER each time we are outside. Tay was sitting down and Brody just came up from behind him and started giving him a shoulder massage. What a thoughtful kid.It was pretty funny. My ultimate pregnancy craving- the PB Shake at Rachel's Kitchen. Yum! Hiking Red Rock Canyons. Taylor and Brody went to explore behind the waterfall. Brody got a little tired at the end. Playing in the fountains after lunch. Rhonda and Larry had a weekend trip planned to California. I've never seen Brody as upset and heartbroken as he was when we dropped them off at the airport. So sad! We took him to watch the planes take off. Which cheered him up for a minute. Brody loves Lucille's BBQ as much as his mama. So yummy! He was really going to town on the honey butter. Love this face. First taste of watermelon this season. He was being so funny about it.
I had a crib bumper custom made for the new babe. It was delivered today. I am so excited about it:)Brody's pretty excited about it too. Yep. That's my kid. Running with scissors. (Don't you love the new rug my mother-in-law gave me?so perfect for this room!)
Coloring break. The good ol' lazy boy is making a transition to Milo's room. It may not be the prettiest, but it is the most comfortable chair ever so I can't stand to part with it. Close up of the baby quilt I made for Milo. I just need to finish the binding. Speaking of rugs, check out how gorgeous this one is that my dad just sent me. I love love love it!It has inspired me to do a little kitchen redecorating. Very little, considering how little our kitchen is:)Perhaps a more appropriate term than redecorating is UNdecorating, bc it has inspired me to simplify the kitchen area.
