Day 90

Today was a yucky day outside, so we stayed inside until 6:15 when we went to meet Taylor for dinner. He usually works from home, but we didn't see him all day because he was out at appointments. Brody and I had serious cabin fever. This fact was validated in the car when I turned around to see Brody waving to anybody he saw outside. He was probably grateful to have his fear that we were the only 2 people on earth comforted by the sight of other humans in the outdoor world.

Day 89

Weirdest photo ever, i know, but i forgot to take a photo today. perhaps because after at least 4 years of avoiding the dentist, i went today for the second time in consecutive days. i had to get a second opinion since the first exam came up with a recommendation of nearly $7,000 of dental work. lucky for me, the second opinion was from a trusted friend who happens to be a dentist and assured me that the first opinion was on crack :) so here are my sad eyes because that's how the first trip to the dentist made me feel.

Since Conference is on Easter Sunday this year, Brody wore his Easter outfit today. It was my brother Josh's when he was a baby, and something about dressing him in something my mom picked out is pretty special to me. It's for 12 months, which Josh was during his first Easter, but Brody is 14 months. I didn't try it on Brodes until 5 minutes before church, and I was laughing so hard at how "snug" it was. I fed him a bottle during Sacrament and the bottom snaps popped open! I guess I shouldn't have given him any extra calories while wearing this outfit! He did look adorable though.

I was in charge of the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet. We had a mystery dinner where the guests had to choose the order in which their meal was served, but the courses were in code. The boys loved it. I'm glad it's over. :) Preparing 5 courses for 50 people was a little bit of stress...

Day 83

Brody tip tap typing away on an old keyboard. Why didn't I think of this sooner? It definitely distracts him from the keyboard of my new MAC(thanks justin!), and it is his new favorite toy! There's something fantastic that happens when those chubby little fingers tap those keys.

Day 82

Girls Night Out! Dinner in SLC and then Legally Blonde at Capitol Theatre. Loved it! My favorite part of the night may have been our dance party in my car while parked in the garage when we got home. :)

Spending time with family at my cousin Courtney's wedding.

Overnight babysitting session for some more cousins. Somehow 5 kids under age 5 sounded easier in my head. I underestimated the difficulty of 2 babies ages 11 and 13 months.

We started babysitting my cousins today and they have a dog. Brody is in love.
